Ben Kurten Featured in Employee Relations Law Journal on Immigration “ICE Storms”

The Employee Relations Law Journal published an article from Shareholder Ben Kurten “Considerations for Employers to Prepare for Immigration ‘ICE Storms’” in its Summer 2025 issue. In it, Kurten guides employers on how to proactively prepare for increased U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement worksite raids ("ICE Storms") and Form I-9 audits under the new administration, outlining best practices and compliance strategies to minimize risk and ensure readiness.

Kurten is the chair of Reinhart’s Immigration Law Group and a shareholder in the firm’s Labor and Employment and International practices. He helps employers stay abreast of developments to ensure they remain in full compliance with the complex and constantly evolving immigration laws. Kurten advises large multinational corporations, small private companies and individual investors on transferring international personnel, hiring foreign-born talent with hard-to-find skill sets and establishing new investment enterprises or branch operations.
