WAUKESHA Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce that Shareholder Wendy S. Rusch has been appointed to serve as the Wisconsin State Chair of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Rusch was appointed by ACTEC President-Elect Robert W. Goldman, and her appointment took affect at the close of ACTEC’s annual meeting, which was held March 9-13, 2022.

Rusch has been a Fellow of ACTEC since 2015. Lawyers are elected to be Fellows based upon their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill and substantial contributions to the trusts and estates field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities. It is ACTEC's aim to improve and reform probate, trust and tax laws, procedures and professional responsibility.

“We are extremely proud of Wendy for being appointed to this important role,” said Reinhart CEO Albert S. Orr. “Her experience, knowledge and dedication to estate planning and the legal profession will surely benefit ACTEC and its members as they work to initiate and inspire positive change.”

Rusch is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Trusts and Estates and Corporate Law practices, where she focuses on estate planning, family business succession planning, retirement planning, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, as well as probate and trust administration. Rusch also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust disputes and advises clients on a wide variety of estate, gift and income tax issues. Her clients include owners of family-controlled companies and high-net-worth individuals primarily in the Waukesha, Madison and Milwaukee areas.
