- John H. Wink
John Wink’s accounting background and broad experience make him an especially adept adviser on complex financing transactions. He’s a shareholder in Reinhart’s Banking and Finance and Corporate Law practices, where he serves financial institutions and asset-based lenders as well as privately held and public companies.
From intricate bond financing projects to sophisticated corporate deals, John combines long-range vision with practical tactics to provide workable, creative solutions for clients. He’s approachable and collaborative, skilled at finding common ground for all parties and in protecting relationships. He enjoys seeing the positive ways his clients’ projects impact the community and thrives on the challenges each new deal brings.
Prior to becoming an attorney, John studied accounting, passed the CPA exam, and worked for a large public institution on accounting matters. This background provides John with a dual perspective on financing since he understands both the legal components as well as the business aspects of a transaction.
He leverages his problem-solving skills in his role on the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes in Southwest Wisconsin, helping vulnerable children and families in difficult circumstances.
Outside of the office, John likes to travel with his family and spend time outdoors golfing and downhill skiing.
