MILWAUKEE - Carol Bannen, Reinhart's Director of Information Services, recently won the Law Librarians Association of Wisconsin's Distinguished Service Award. This award seeks to honor an individual for their contributions to a particular area of law, to LLAW, or to professional literature.

“Carol is a founding member of LLAW and has not slowed in her commitment since those early days. She truly exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated servant to LLAW, law librarianship, and the greater legal and librarian communities," said the group of individuals who nominated Bannen. In conjunction with being a model for LLAW, Bannen is cited for her outstanding chapter and professional leadership, speaking engagements and article publications.

Carol A. Bannen is Reinhart’s Director of Information Resources that includes the firm’s fully automated and professionally staffed Information Resource Center and the Records Department. A dedicated employee for more than 40 years, Carol has been an important member of both departments. Today she is responsible for Reinhart’s research, records, and knowledge management operations and has been instrumental in creating and maintaining the firm’s knowledge management applications and best practices toolboxes – all intended to maximize research efficiency and effectiveness.
