Candidates were evaluated against 10 criteria to determine the Five Star Estate Planning Attorneys in more than 40 major markets. The award process includes nominations by peers and firms, an objective evaluation process, and a regulatory and consumer complaint review.

Herbers is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Trusts and Estates Practice as well as a member of the Tax and Corporate Law practices. His work includes estate planning, family business planning, retirement planning, marital and prenuptial agreements, probate and trust administration, fiduciary litigation and charitable giving. His clients include owners and operators of family businesses, professionals and executives of large companies, and high-net worth individuals. A respected authority on a variety of estate planning issues, Herbers frequently speaks to public and professional audiences including accountants, financial institutions and insurance specialists. He is licensed in Wisconsin and Florida.

Rusch is a shareholder in Reinhart's Trusts and Estates, and Corporate Law Practices. Her clients include owners of family-controlled companies and high-net worth individuals primarily in the Waukesha, Madison and Milwaukee areas. Rusch's practice focuses on estate planning, family business succession planning, retirement planning, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and probate and trust administration. She represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust disputes, and advises clients on estate, gift and income tax issues. Rusch is an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) through the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, and is licensed in Wisconsin and South Dakota.
