  3. Reinhart Shareholder Laura Brenner Advocates in Favor of a Designated Business Court in Wisconsin

Laura Brenner served as a member of the Business Court Advisory Committee and appeared before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in support of a petition to create a Pilot Program to establish a designated business court in Wisconsin.

The project was approved by the Supreme Court for the creation a business court docket in Waukesha County and the seven-county Eighth Judicial District until 2020. At that time, a determination will be made whether or not to expand the business court statewide. Many other states have established such specialty courts in order to more efficiently and effectively handle large claim business and commercial cases.
