MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. shareholders Heather Fields and Denise Goergen have been appointed to the TEMPO Milwaukee Board of Directors.

TEMPO Milwaukee brings together influential women from diverse fields and backgrounds to create a network and shared experience that serves members in achieving their professional goals and furthers positions of leadership for women in the community. Several other Reinhart attorneys and professionals are members of the organization.

Fields has been appointed to serve as TEMPO Milwaukee's Leadership Events Chair. A member of the firm's Health Care Practice, Fields has extensive experience working with hospitals and health systems addressing compliance matters, operational and transactional issues, medical staff matters, governance issues, professional licensing and accreditation, bioethics issues, HIPAA compliance and clinical research compliance.

She is active in several professional organizations, including serving on the HIPAA Collaborative of Wisconsin (HIPAA COW) Board of Directors.

Fields earned her undergraduate degree, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan, and graduated with honors from DePaul University College of Law.

Goergen will be TEMPO Milwaukee's Director of Member Retention. She is a member of Reinhart's Employee Benefits Practice and has more than 25 years of experience counseling national and global corporate clients on the complexities of single employer/employee benefit plans and executive compensation matters.

In addition to serving her clients, Goergen devotes her time to community organizations, including the Betty Brinn Children's Museum (Board president) and the Milwaukee Children's Choir (former president of the Board). She is involved in a number of professional organizations, including the National Employee Benefits Institute (former director) and the Greater Milwaukee Employee Benefits Counsel (former president and Board member). Goergen obtained her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Iowa and earned her law degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa Law School.
