Reinhart Lawyers and Practice Areas Recognized by Chambers  (6/27/2008)

Milwaukee, WI – Eleven Reinhart lawyers and all of our practice areas for the categories listed by Chambers in the State of Wisconsin have been recognized in the 2008 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Chambers' annual survey of U.S. law firms stands out among the various published surveys and directories of the legal profession because of its methodology of selection and interviewing law firm clients. Chambers singled out all five of our practice areas among the five they recognize in Wisconsin. These include:

• Corporate Law/Mergers & Acquisitions Practice: "This firm (Reinhart) boasts a long history in the state and handles a substantial amount of local work, particularly M&A, for smaller and midmarket family-held enterprises," Chambers notes.  James Bedore, Michael Pepke and Thomas Myers were recognized for their “fine experience, entrepreneurial slant and strong work ethic.”

• Real Estate Practice: Chambers commends the Reinhart Real Estate Practice group for being known for its “'strong local development practice,' the group attracts clients with its 'excellent service at a reasonable price' and 'creative problem solving.'” Bruce Block, Jesse Ishikawa, Dean Richards and Donald Gallo were mentioned as being “'well-known and respected' lawyers who are particularly commended for their government land use approvals work." The four are part of “one of the better real estate practices in this area" known also for its "strong local development practice."

• Corporate Litigation Practice: Reinhart's Litigation Practice is described by Chambers as a "regional stalwart that draws on a tremendous amount of trial experience to successfully represent clients in court if necessary. Its focus on combining practical and academic experience to achieve aims is reflected in the group’s Trial Science Institute. Indeed, rival practitioners greatly esteem its mock courtroom as an effective educative tool, and the firm invests heavily in training." The team of  “highly accomplished attorneys” includes Mark Cameli, a “wonderfully talented lawyer with an abundance of common sense,” and Scott Hansen, a “consistently reliable” lawyer with “great communicative abilities.”

• Intellectual Property Practice: According to Chambers, "The firm’s strength lies in IP portfolio management and transactional matters but it remains visible in individual trademark and patent matters, too." David Hanson was praised for his “'thoughtful and quality work' and 'put him at the top for his insightful counsel,' particularly in copyright and trademark matters."

• Labor and Employment Practice: Chambers describes Labor and Employment Department Chair Robert Sholl as one who "comes highly recommended by peers as a 'skillful, analytical and persistent attorney, who is a good evaluator of cases and a practical adviser.'”
