Milwaukee, WI -- Tracey L. Klein, Equity Shareholder in the Health Care Department of the law firm Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren sc, has been named a "2008 Women of Influence" award winner in the Community Supporter Category by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Tracey and other "Women of Influence" received their awards at a luncheon to honor them at the Midwest Airlines Center Milwaukee, WI, on June 26, 2008.

Tracey is recognized for her tireless efforts on behalf of her clients and the community at large. A superb lawyer, well known as one of the leading health care attorneys in Wisconsin, she has served as general counsel to acute care hospitals, multi-provider health care systems, multi-specialty clinics, managed care companies and health insurance companies for more than 20 years. She is Chair of the firm's Health System Subgroup.

In addition to her work as an attorney, Tracey has devoted substantial time and effort to numerous community service organizations over the past 20 years and has held leadership positions with many of them. Tracey currently sits on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and has acted as co-chair of its "Go Red" luncheon for the past three years. A member of the United Way Cabinet, for which she served as the Lawyer Advisor in 2007, this year Tracey will also serve as co-chair for the Women's Initiative Team. She is also a member of the United Performing Arts Fund Cabinet. 

Tracey also currently sits on the Marquette University Law School Advisory Board of Directors and has been a strong supporter of the efforts to build a replacement facility for the Marquette University Law School. Additionally, Tracey is an Advisory Committee member for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Health Sciences.

She is an active member of TEMPO, having served as President from 2005-2006 and as a Board Member from 1999 until 2007.  In addition, Tracey is on the Calvary Lutheran Church Board of Deacons and was a member of its Board of Directors from 1992 until 1994.

She has served on the Steering Committee of Milwaukee Women, Inc. (MWI) since 2005 and this year is a member of the MWI Executive Committee.

Tracey joins fellow Reinhart attorney Anne M. Hlavacka as a Women of Influence Award recipient. Anne received her award in 2004 in the Mentor Category.
