Taft-Hartley Multiemployer
Reinhart's Taft-Hartley Multiemployer Plan practice is national in scope and involves representation of more than 100 Taft-Hartley funds throughout the country. Our Taft-Hartley clients provide benefits to employees in a wide variety of industries, such as retail, graphic arts and virtually all of the construction trades. We have represented Taft-Hartley plans for more than four decades, and our Taft-Hartley clients range in size from fewer than 500 participants to more than 80,000 participants with assets from several million dollars to assets in excess of five billion dollars.
The Taft-Hartley attorneys in our Employee Benefits Practice average more than 20 years of experience providing services to multiemployer plan clients. Our Taft-Hartley attorneys are assisted by seven paralegals and legal assistants who specialize in working with multiemployer clients, and more than 20 other Employee Benefits Practice attorneys.
Our extensive employee benefits experience, the national scope of our practice and the variety of clients we represent makes us uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive and in-depth legal services to our Taft-Hartley clients. Our extensive involvement in the benefit and Taft-Hartley areas throughout the country allows us to keep on top of all developments affecting our clients. Also, our relationship with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans enables us to provide our clients with exceptional opportunities for communicating with other similarly situated entities, as well as offering educational opportunities and access to federal and state governmental agencies.
Additionally, because we are part of a full-service law firm, we possess resources that many Taft-Hartley law firms do not offer. One of these resources consists of attorneys from other practice areas within Reinhart (including Business Reorganization, Corporate, Real Estate and Litigation) who assist our Taft-Hartley attorneys in providing legal services to our multiemployer plan clients.
