Peter C. Blain is a shareholder and chair of the firm's Business Reorganization Practice. Pete also served as a vice president and director of the firm from 1992 to 2005. Pete is a noted author and speaker on bankruptcy topics and is a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Business at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In 2007, at the request of the U.S. Ambassador and the American Chamber of Commerce, Pete led a team, which included a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge and a crisis manager, to Prague, Czech Republic, to instruct Czech bankruptcy judges and lawyers about the dynamics of reorganization proceedings prior to the effective date of that country's newly enacted bankruptcy statute.
