REINHART ATTORNEY WILKE ELECTED TO ENGINEERS AND SCIENTISTS OF MILWAUKEE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MILWAUKEE – James A. Wilke, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. shareholder in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice, has been elected to the Engineers and Scientists of Milwaukee Board of Directors. Wilke is the first patent attorney to serve on the Board.
Wilke's background as an electrical engineer has given him a practical perspective on his clients’ goals and challenges. This perspective, together with his deep understanding of business and the electro-mechanical arts, enables him to bridge the communication gap between engineers and business strategists. Beginning in Fall 2009, Jim will be teaching "Intellectual Property for Engineers" at the Marquette University College of Engineering.
Wilke earned his undergraduate degree from the Marquette University College of Engineering and graduated from Marquette University Law School. He also received his Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from John Marshall Law School.
Engineers and Scientists of Milwaukee is Southeastern Wisconsin’s leading technical organization providing and /or promoting educational outreach programs emphasizing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
