Reinhart Attorney Klein to Participate in Illinois Hospital Association Teleconference
MILWAUKEE, WI – Tracey L. Klein, shareholder in Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c.'s Health Care and Business Law Practices, will participate as a speaker at the Illinois Hospital Association's (IGA) Teleconference: "What's Next for Hospital Property Tax Exemption?" on April 15, 2010.
The teleconference will cover a variety of topics, including property tax exemption requirements, how hospitals can meet those requirements, preparing for possible review by government officials, how the Department of Revenue evaluates exemptions and the powers of local taxing bodies and assessors.
Klein has served as general counsel to acute care hospitals, multiprovider health care systems, multispecialty clinics, managed care companies and health insurance companies for more than 20 years. She has experience in regional and national transactions involving health care providers and insurance companies including the formation of joint operating entities, hospital affiliations and mergers, the formation of physician group practices and the formation and reorganization of insurance companies.
Klein earned her J.D. cum laude from Marquette University Law School and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
