FORMER ASSEMBLY REPRESENTATIVE JOE HANDRICK JOINS REINHART'S GOVERNMENT RELATIONS TEAM

MILWAUKEE – Former State Representative Joe Handrick has joined the Government Relations Team at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. Handrick will work out of Reinhart's Milwaukee and Madison offices.

"Joe will be a tremendous asset to the Reinhart Government Relations Team and his joining the firm will allow us to provide for an expanded service offering to our business clients," said Jerome M. Janzer, Reinhart's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman in announcing the move. "Joe brings to the table a wealth of legislative and local government experience, and relationships with key decision-makers in both the Wisconsin legislature and the incoming administration."

Handrick served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1995 to 2001. Subsequent to his legislative career, Handrick worked as a consultant and in government relations. For the past five years, Handrick has served as town chairman in the Town of Minocqua.

"Joe's presence will strengthen Reinhart's ability to tackle emerging issues, especially health care reform efforts at the state and federal level," said Tracey L. Klein, the chair of Reinhart's Hospitals and Health Systems legal service group. "As the health care landscape changes, Joe will enable Reinhart to better serve the needs of our health care clients."

Handrick joins the Reinhart Government Relations Team which already boasts of several attorneys with experience in government relations as well as prior service as government decision-makers. 

"Joe's intimate knowledge of the workings of the legislative and executive branches of state government is an asset that Reinhart's clients will be able to utilize as they deal with new and different challenges posed by state government," said Don M.
