PATENT ATTORNEY STEPHEN H. DOCTER JOINS REINHART BOERNER VAN DEUREN S.C.
MILWAUKEE – Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. announces the addition of Stephen H. Docter, a registered patent attorney, to the firm's Milwaukee office.
Docter, a shareholder in the Intellectual Property Practice, comes to Reinhart from a firm in Chicago where he practiced as a patent attorney for 10 years. He will be involved in all areas of patent procurement, conduct due diligence studies, and counsel clients concerning business risks and benefits relating to patent infringement, validity and enforcement, with special emphasis on the chemical and pharmaceutical arts.
"We couldn't be more pleased about Stephen's decision to join us," said Jerome M. Janzer, Reinhart's CEO and Chairman. "His credentials and experience in research make him an excellent addition to our Intellectual Property team; our clients, especially those in the growing biotech industry, will benefit from his knowledge immediately."
Docter received his law degree from John Marshall Law School. He has a master's degree in organic chemistry and a bachelor's degree in chemistry, both from Loyola University of Chicago.
