More than 40 years ago, Reinhart launched its recruiting program at a time when most law school graduates found jobs by knocking on doors. Only the most established and largest firms had the time and resources to travel across the country to campuses and recruit. But that didn’t stop Reinhart. Reinhart knew it had to offer something different, something more than tradition to set itself apart from the giants of the legal profession. So the firm, led by five young attorneys, sold promise.

Today that entrepreneurial spirit remains—at Reinhart, you will have great opportunities and the chance to be instrumental in our growth and evolution. We attract lawyers who want to be part of a thriving, challenging legal practice, who want more than simply to join an institution. Like any growing firm, we've made external changes—we've changed the firm's name, opened new office locations and even built an in-house courtroom. But, our core characteristics remain the same.

Client Base

Historically, the core of our client base has been highly sophisticated, growing, midlevel companies, complemented by some multinational organizations. This client base provides a wide variety of high-level legal work and gives Reinhart associates immediate client interaction. This type of interaction is typically reserved (at other firms) for senior associates or junior shareholders. We develop close personal relationships with entrepreneurs and companies' top decision-makers, people who grow their business investments the way Reinhart has grown—starting with a few shareholders and expanding to multimillion-dollar entities. We bring to our larger clients the same individualized service and values that we provide to our closely held clients. As Reinhart evolves with its client base, our dedication to our role as business advisor never wavers.

Culture of Support

As our firm history demonstrates, we understand the importance of supporting and informing associates about firm goals and expectations beginning early in their careers. So we've established organized means for facilitating communication across ll levels within the firm. For example, our CEO hosts regular town hall meetings, an open forum for associates to raise questions and discuss issues facing the firm. Town hall meetings are just one way in which the firm is able to engage associates and understand what's important to them. The meetings help associates develop relationships even at the firm leadership level. Reinhart's supportive culture reaches beyond organized meetings—it happens on a daily basis, as well. From something as small as a New Year's Eve afternoon champagne toast led by the CEO or a firm-wide lunch served by the Board of Directors to something as important as shareholders and associates working side by side in all stages of a client marketing program, Reinhart creates a sociable community for associates. This atmosphere results in a workplace that doesn't overemphasize hierarchy. We take a team approach to working projects and give you as much responsibility as you can handle. Through constant, day-to-day interaction, shareholders and associates develop natural mentoring relationships that offer an associate great job satisfaction. Development

Reinhart demonstrates its true commitment to associate training through well-established attorney development programs. Reinhart was the first local firm to develop an associate training program, teaching practice development and professional skills to first-year attorneys. Our Reinhart University program highlights cross-selling opportunities and allows attorneys at all levels from all departments to learn about other practice areas in the firm. Firm attorneys teach Reinhart University courses on essential and timely legal topics. The program also provides a regular opportunity for our attorneys to earn CLE credits. Our attorneys can access Reinhart's own Trial Science Institute, located in the top level of the firm's Milwaukee office. The TSI is a cutting-edge technology courtroom with three jury rooms designed to train litigators, test cases and prepare witnesses. Built in 1999, the TSI was one of the first facilities of its kind in the nation. Recognizing practice development extends beyond the office walls, Reinhart provides associates with opportunities to participate in and take the lead in networking and professional development events. Our annual Conference for Women Leaders encourages female attorneys to build relationships and develop ties within the community through a creative educational and social event. Shareholders routinely include associates in client entertainment and marketing events. The firm lends significant support to associates' own client development initiatives, as well.
