Community Involvement
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. places a high value on the people, clients and communities that it serves. In addition to the firm's Pro Bono activities, each year, approximately 100 charities and support organizations located throughout Reinhart's service areas are beneficiaries of the firm's dedication to volunteerism and charitable giving. This culture of philanthropy includes commitments of both funds and time by its attorneys, paralegals and support staff. The firm's personnel play active roles in these organizations as Board members and as strategic planners for steering and fundraising committees.
Internally, Reinhart paralegals and support staff organize annual events that raise awareness and funds to combat hunger and disease.
- Each year Reinhart paralegals collect food donations for Milwaukee's local food banks and shelters.
Reinhart also has developed "Chemo Caps," a program that recruits the talents of Reinhart employees and local volunteers to design comfortable and elaborate head warmers for cancer patients undergoing treatment. The caps provide comfort to patients and are lasting symbols of hope and recovery. Over 8,000 caps have been provided to hospitals and oncology clinics throughout Wisconsin since the project began in 2002.
The firm's Annual Paralegal Blood Drive collects blood on behalf of the Blood Center of Southeastern Wisconsin and has, for years, supplied an essential lifeline to those in need.
